Using the exact same smoking process we use in our hickory smoked salt, smoked one batch at a time in our wood smokehouse, we finish the smoking process of this salt by adding dried ghost peppers during the final hour of smoking. What we create is a unique salt that is equal parts smoke and spice. This is not a smoked ghost pepper salt that is looking to inflict pain, but we do want you to know it is there!
